Building on last year’s experience, M31 Technology (M31) once again organized the “Corporate Visit“ event this year. Unlike previous approaches, this time we directly collaborated with the Department of Electrical Engineering office at Central University to better target students from relevant departments and provide career connections, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the silicon intellectual property (IP) industry. During the event, Patrick Lien, the Vice President of R&D at M31, introduced the development history of M31, IP products, and future challenges. Additionally, alumni from National Central University who are currently working at M31 also shared insights about the company’s benefits and career life, and provided relevant advice for future employment. Next, the students were taken on a tour of the R&D office environment, which resembles an art gallery. Each piece of artwork was explained in terms of its symbolic significance, allowing students to personally experience M31’s work atmosphere. At last, the human resources department provided explanations of relevant job descriptions, helping students to gain a clearer direction in their career paths.
The Department of Electrical Engineering at National Central University and M31 jointly organized this career event, which provided students with the opportunity to gain a practical understanding of the workplace environment, internship information, the company’s future development trends, the necessary skills required, and career sharing from alumni. Through close and enthusiastic interactions, this initiative helps students in making future employment choices. Professor You-Sheng Lin, the Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Central University, highly appreciated this visit and hopes that the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Central University can have ongoing and in-depth industry-academia collaboration with M31 in the future.
