M31 Technology (6643-TW) provides a broad range of foundational and interface integrated circuit (IC) intellectual property (IP) macros. The company was founded in October 2011 and has its headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan. From the start, M31 focused on providing high-speed interface IP, memory compiler, and standard cell library solutions.

M31 closely collaborates with world-class semiconductor companies, and aggressively invests in developing and validating differentiated IP solutions that help their customers maximize market opportunities by shortening design cycles, lowing manufacturing costs, and high product competitiveness.

Founder’s Philosophy

The founders adopted M31 Technology as the company name because they were inspired by the Andromeda Galaxy. Positioned 2.5 million light-years from Earth, M31 is a dual-core spiral galaxy that boasts a staggering one trillion stars. Remarkably, it is observable with the naked eye, earning it the distinction as the farthest “deep sky object.”

Chairman

Lynne, Chen Huey-Ling

Ms. Chen served in several management roles at Cadence Design Systems prior to joining M31. She also held academic positions, most notably as an associate professor at Minghsin University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Chen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Information Engineering from the National Taiwan University, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and her Doctor of Science degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 1997.

CEO

Scott Chang

Mr. Chang served as a manager in the high-speed interface IP development department of Faraday Technology, Corp. prior to joining M31 Technology.

He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University.
