Corporate Sustainable Development Committee
M31 formed the “Corporate Sustainable Development Committee” to set corporate sustainability strategies and visions in 2022. As we take the rights and interests of our stakeholders very seriously, we always focus more on any impact on the environment, society, and governance and continuously improve our sustainability performance while pursuing sustainable management and profits. With the CEO acting as the Chief Commissioner, the Corporate Sustainable Development Committee takes corporate sustainable development as the overriding guiding principle. The committee convenes regular meetings annually to review the Company’s sustainability promotion effectiveness and report annual implementation results to the Board of Directors.
Four working groups are subordinate to the Corporate Sustainable Development Committee: Product Technology and Brand Innovation Group, Social Co-benefit and Labor-Management Harmony Group, Environmental Symbiosis Group, and Sustainable Governance Group. These groups together are responsible for assisting and contributing to the achievement of the corporate sustainability goals, “Sustainable Environment,” “Sustainable Society,” and “Sustainable Governance.” The committee has an executive secretary group to coordinate the working groups to address the corporate sustainability issues of concern in line with the overall international policy trends and practices.
